We invite you to participate in this study regarding Esports. Your involvement will contribute to research on a topic with limited prior investigation but significant practical importance.
Approximately 700 people will participate in this study and you are cordially invited to ask your friends and family to do so as well. Apart from being at least 16 years old and able to understand English well enough to fill in the survey, you do not need to meet other requirements to participate.
Completing the questionnaires will take approximately 10 minutes of your time and will be administered via an online format. When filling in the questionnaire, please be honest. There is no right or wrong or desired outcome. We are interested in honest, truthful answers to get a good understanding of the specific topics we are looking into. Your participation in this study does not pose any health risk. You will not gain any specific benefit from participating in this study. You do, however, considerably contribute to a very young research field, which also has a very high practical relevance.
If you are taking part in this study, you should know that: This study was drawn up after evaluation by EC Research UZ/KU Leuven. Your participation is voluntary; there can be no coercion in any way. The data collected is completely anonymous. No personal data such as name, date of birth, address, etc. are collected. Your anonymity is also assured when the results are published.
