Dear participant,

Thank you for participating in our research study. The goal of the current study is to collect player experience evaluations of different known digital games. This information can help game user researchers and designers understand how different games compare to each other.


What does participation entail?
In this study, you will take part in an online survey of about 10 minutes. The questionnaire concerns the following topics: 1) gaming habits, 2) birth year and gender, 3) evaluation of a game.

What are the possible risks and benefits of my participation?
There are no direct risks or benefits of being part of this study.

Will my participation in this study stay confidential?
All information collected through this study will remain confidential. Only the researchers of this project will have access to the collected data. All collaborators and people involved in this study commit themselves to act in good conscience and shall respect the Belgian privacy law (“Law of the 8th of December 1992 to protect the personal privacy relative to the processing of the personal data, B.S. 18th of March 1993”).
 
What shall happen with the results of the study?
The results shall be used in the context of scientific research. The results will also be available via a web tool for game user researchers. It is possible that the results will be published in a scientific paper. In this case, your identity will never be disclosed.
